About Patricia L. Lewis

Patricia L. Lewis was named UnitedHealth Group’s first chief sustainability officer in February 2022. She leads the development and implementation of the enterprise ESG strategy, including environmental sustainability goals and UnitedHealth Group’s health equity and diversity, equity and inclusion commitments and initiatives. Lewis previously served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer of UnitedHealth Group.

Before joining the company in 2019, Lewis was senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Lockheed Martin, leading a large global team to deploy a human capital strategy in support of a diverse global workforce in more than 50 countries. She has successfully led human capital teams within complex and highly regulated industries, from aerospace to biometrics. Before joining Lockheed Martin in 2011, Lewis held various positions in human resources at IBM Corporation and DuPont.
